Exhibition bouts between retired or semi-retired fighters have become a regular part of the boxing calendar in recent years, but even the loosest of those events tend to come with some basic promotional buildup. This one has none.

Tyson's adviser says a contract exists

Someone in Tyson's camp is keeping the story alive. His adviser has stated publicly that a contract is in place and that he expects the fight to go ahead as planned. That's the strongest confirmation anyone has offered so far.
